Whether the mother language plays a positive or a negative role in second language acquisition is still controversial in the academic circle. This article proves that mother language plays a positive role in second language acquisition with linguistic universals and relevance, in the perspective of psycholinguistics with color and relative lexicon as examples.%母语在二语习得过程中到底是起积极作用还是消极作用,学术界一直没有定论。从心理语言学角度,以颜色词及亲属词为例论证可发现,语言共项和语言关联性下母语对二语习得具有促进作用。
