75 soil samples were collected from farmland in Shanxi and concentrations of soil organic matter (SOM) and total nitrogen (TN) at 0 ~ 20 cm and 20-100 cm soil depths were analyzed. The statistical results indicated that the mean content of SOM and TN al 0 ~ 20 cm soil depths of typical cropland were 17.7, 0.85 g/kg. The mean leveles of SOM and TN were higher in topsoil (0 ~ 20 cm) and their coefficients of variation belonged to the middle degree. The mean contents of SOM and TN 20 - 100 cm soil depths were 8.5 and 0.45 g/kg respectively. SOM and TN levels showed the same distributed patterns of declining from southeast to northwest. Their spatial distribution was affected by topology, soil type, fertilization and land use types.%探明土壤有机质和全氮的空间分布,是进行合理科学配方施肥的重要依据.利用山西全省采集的75个典型农田剖面数据,测定其0~20,20~100 cm土层土壤有机质和全氮的含量.研究结果表明,2007年山西省主要农田耕层0~20 cm土层土壤有机质和全氮的平均含量分别为17.7,0.85 g/kg,均属中等偏上水平,变异系数为中等程度变异;20~ 100cm土层土壤有机质和全氮的平均含量分别为8.5,0.45 g/kg.其剖面分布表现出一定的表聚性.山西省农田土壤有机质和全氮含量空间分布格局基本一致,由东南向西北逐渐减少,主要受地形、土壤类型、土地利用方式和施肥状况等因素的影响.
