新中国文科高等教育的“工作母机”——20世纪五六十年代中国人民大学的办学探索与贡献

At the beginning of its establishment, Renmin University of China adhered to taking teach- ing and research as the most important things. It always conformed to the needs of national construc- tion, and explored a series of teaching and research mechanisms to adapt to the national condition in the aspects of major setting, teacher training, textbook compilation and system construction, as well as education philosophy. Therefore, Renmin University of China sets an example and plays the leading role for other liberal arts in higher education institutions, and makes a remarkable contribution to the establishment of higher education system in China.%中国人民大学在命名组建之初，坚持以教学、科研为中心，在专业设置、师资培养、教材编写、制度建设以及办学理念等方面，始终顺应国家建设的需要，在实践中探索出一系列符合中国国情的教学科研机制，成为全国其他文科高等院校学习的模板，担当了新中国文科高等教育“工作母机”的角色，为新中国高等教育体系的建立作出了卓著贡献。
