合作式写作对非英语专业学生写作能力影响的实证研究

         

摘要

英语的听、说、读、写四项技能对于非英语专业的学生来说同等重要。在大学英语教学中,写作是非常薄弱的一个环节。学生觉得写作十分枯燥,提笔无话可写,尽管老师做了相当大的努力来改善写作的现状,但是收效甚微。合作学习模式在国外已经被广泛应用到语言课堂的学习中,尤其是口语教学。但是对于合作式写作这种教学模式研究的还十分不足。笔者选取了宁波工程学院汉语专业的2个平行班进行测试,旨在全面评估写作作为一项合作成果,从写作前的准备到写作过程到最后的评估,均采用合作模式,能否有效的提高学生的英语写作能力。其结果表明合作式写作对于非英语专业学生的写作积极性、参与性及作文质量有着积极的影响。%To Non-English majors,the skills of English listening,speaking,reading and writing are equally important,yet writing,in CET,seems a very weak part.Students feel bored or have nothing to write while teachers have made great effort to improve the writing situation,yet the results are so poor.Now collaborative learning mode has been introduced in the language class,especially in the oral class,however,the impact of collaborative writing has been less studied.The present study selects two parallel classes in the Chinese specialty in NBUT for the experiment and compares the compositions by individuals and by pairs(or three students) from the brainstorming stage to the writing part and until the revision stage and investigates the impact of collaborative writing.The study finds that collaborative writing has positive impact on non-English majors' participation,initiative and writing quality as well.
