This study examines the critical success factors of budget hotels in China,taking Home Inns as the study case. These critical success factors are people,timing/contextual factors,strategic choices,managerial and operational efficiency,performance/product,and Home Inns’ culture. The result also indicates that different factors contributed to Home Inns’ success at different developing stages.
