试论《马达加斯加招工合同》的虚假性

At the end of nineteenth century, driven by the huge interest, the French colonial authori-ties in Fujian coastal areas successfully recruited a number of Chinese laborers by hiring contract in order to send them to work in Madagascar. However, the attractive employment contract was a distinctive con-trast to the actual situation of Chinese laborers, which not only revealed the falsities of the recruitment contract, but also reflected the flabby and impotent of Qing Dynasty.%19世纪末，由于巨大利益的驱使，法国殖民当局在福建沿海地区利用招工合同成功招募一批华工到马达加斯加做工。然而，诱人的招工合同与被招募华工的实际情况形成强大反差，这不仅揭示了招工合同的虚假性，更反映了时局变动下清政府的软弱无能。
