美国高校规模效益的现状、特点及启示

摘要

Higher education in the United States is among the top in terms of both scale and educational strength. American universities apply differentiation development, and their funds mainly come from donation. They employ perfor-mance management mode, conduct cooperation with enterprises, and advocate distance learning. Universities in China should learn from the development experience of scale merits in American universities establish progressing doctrine, strengthen efficient allotment of resources, promote intensive development, conduct the system of performance evaluation, enhance the function of social service, and endeavor to realize the goal of first-class universities.%美国高等教育无论在规模上还是在教育实力和内涵发展上，都位居世界之首。美国高校实行差异化发展，其资金来源以捐赠为主，采用绩效管理模式，实施校企合作办学，大力拓展远程教育。我国高校应积极借鉴美国高校规模发展经验，树立“稳中求升”的办学理念，加强资源的有效配置，全面力推内涵式发展道路，建立绩效评价体系，提高社会服务功能，努力实现一流大学的建设目标。
