He had lived in Japan for 13 years and married a Japanese woman who later bore two sons.The story of The Tang Boat is based on the historical fact of the Japanese invasion in the Ming Dynasty,during which Ningbo natives were often kidnapped by Japanese pirates.This article focuses on the East Asian overseas communication during the 14th-16th centuries,and studies the trade conflicts between Japan and Ningbo as well as the plunder of Japanese pirates,from which we can also learn about the captive's life in Japan.
