大儒的气度 纵横家的气势——荀子的政论散文及其论辩艺术

摘要

Xunzi＇s political proses, which are graceful in diction, profound in thought, rich in contents, fully expressed the talent and spirit of a great scholar in the Warring States Period in ancient China. His political pros- es, together with the Mencius, Zhuangzi, and Hanfeizi, were honored as the four pillars among hundreds of schol- ars in the Xian Chin Dynasty. Putting great emphasis on literary talent, Xunzi had comprehensively applied various artistic techniques in his argumentative style to voice his political aspiration. Thus, the expressive force had been greatly reinforced and the eloquence of a political strategist had been obviously presented in his arguments.%荀子的政论散文文质兼美，思想学说博大精深，内容宏富充实，在先秦诸子中与孟子、庄子、韩非子合称为四大台柱，表现出战国大儒的气度。荀子非常重视文采。在论辩上综合运用了各种艺术技巧，形成排山倒海万马奔腾之势，畅快淋漓地表达了他的政治愿望，极大地增强了文章的表现力，在言说论辩上大有战国纵横家之势。
