The Echo Maker is a veritable eco-fiction. The author Richard Powers is known as a humanist writ-er with a rich scientific background, and his ecological opinion is fully reflected in the novel. The thesis in-tends to analyze The Echo Maker from the perspective of natural ecocriticism.
