Along with the advancement of research on theory of ideological and political education,ideological and political education essence,as an initial problem,becomes an academic hotspot and has achieved rich results.The main point of view is reviewed in this paper,and from the perspective of cognition premise and cognitive degree of nature,the author analyzes the reasons of differences,and put forward some thinking about the nature of the ideological and political education,that is to enhance the focus on essential cognition premise,to explore,to distinguish the existing essence and the due essence,and to strengthen the ideological and political education under the vision of human civilization history research.%随着思想政治教育基础理论研究的推进,作为“元问题”的思想政治教育本质问题成为探讨的学术热点,取得了丰富的成果。本文对其主要观点进行了回顾,并从本质认知前提、认知项度的视角分析分歧的原因,提出了关于思想政治教育本质的几点思考:增强对本质认知前提的关注、探究,区分“现存本质”和“应有本质”以及加强在整个人类文明视域下的思想政治教育历史研究。
