The maximum property of Cauchy problem for Chaplygin�s hodograph equation in the hyperbolic domain near the degenerate line is investigated.The pointwise bounds for the so-lutions of Cauchy problem is obtained as an application of the maximum property.%研究了双曲区域内退化线附近 Chaplygin速端方程 Cauchy问题的极值性质，并利用它得到了解的点点有界性。
