摘要

Hakka people＇ s custom of respecting the elders and worshiping ancestors has been established in the long history of Hakka people＇ s development. It＇ s deemed as a morality to worship ancestors, respect elders and rela- tives. It is also an important means to unite families, easing various conflicts. Carrying on these customs helps in relieving those social conflicts and solving social problems and consequently establishing a harmonious society.%敦亲敬祖是客家人经过长期的历史积淀而成并沿传下来的崇拜祖先、尊重长辈、注重血亲,使家族和睦兴旺、亲友敦厚团结的一种道德传统。当前,弘扬敦亲敬祖的客家优良传统对协调社会关系,缓和社会矛盾,促进社会和谐有重要的现实意义。
