The author of Reminiscences in the Cuotuo Slope—the ploughing and Studying Dream of a Generational Farm-er,an old gentleman Shen Bo’ai,is a retired teacher in Liuyang,Hunan province. This autobiographical prose includes an account of the ups and downs of Mr. Shen’s life.
