Using P index ,TW index and ER index ,and other related mathematical models ,54 counties and cities in Jiangsu Province are used as the research units to analyze the evolution process of regional economic polarization of the province in the last 1978—2016 years ,and the industry and effect decomposition are carried out .The results show that the regional economic polarization of Jiangsu Province has experienced a weakening-strengthening-weake-ning-strengthening-weakening process ,which generally shows an expansion trend .From the view of industrial com-position ,the main cause of regional economic polarization is due to the high share of the second or third industry . From the industrial effect decomposition ,the concentration effect of three industries is greater than the structure effect .With the acceleration of industrialization ,marketization and urbanization ,the influence of the third industry on regional economic polarization has gradually expanded .%运用P指数、T W指数和ER指数等相关数理模型,以江苏省54个县市为研究单元,对1978~2016年全省区域经济极化的演化过程进行分析,并对其进行产业和效应分解.结果发现:江苏省区域经济极化经历了减弱—增强—减弱—增强—减弱的变化过程,总体上呈现扩大态势;从产业构成来看,引起区域经济极化产生的主要原因是由于二、三产业所占份额过高所致;从产业效应分解来看,三次产业的集中效应大于结构效应;随着工业化、市场化和城市化进程的加速,第三产业对区域经济极化变化影响逐渐扩大.
