民办高职院校学生的自信心不足，目标普遍缺失，学生很难进行自主学习。学生入学英语成绩低，英语基础差。老师责任感极低，灵魂工程师的使命感不高。英语B级考试是以《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》为依据，测试语言知识、语言技能，考查学生对英语的应用能力。本文旨在揭示学生自主学习和老师的引导在英语教学中的重要性，以期提高英语B级过级率。%The students in private vocational college are lack of self-confidence, target, it is difficult for them to study by themselves. Their English is poor. The teachers had extremely low responsibility and low soul engineer's mission. English B level examination is on the basis of the "basic requirements"in English teaching at higher vocational colleges, and tests language knowledge, language skills and students' ability of English. This thesis aims to reveal the importance of students' autonomous learning and teacher's guide in English teaching, in order to improve the English B level pass rate.
