Edith is the only white women of the novel"salvation", who not only looks beautiful, but also intel igent and independent. This article from the colonial feminism perspective reveals her character, as women, together with western white men, shows advantages of the western white, at the same time, discriminates against the Far East country colored race, especial y colored women, adding to living chains of non white women in the works.%伊迪丝作为小说《拯救》中唯一的白人女性，不仅外表美丽，而且头脑聪明有主见，本文将从后殖民女性主义角度对其进行剖析，揭示其虽身为女性，但却与西方白人男性一道，在展现作为西方白人的优越感的同时歧视东方遥远国度的有色人种，尤其是有色人种女性，加重了作品中非白人女性的生活枷锁。
