日本的地震神话

摘要

According to an investigation conducted at Kashimajingu Japan and previous research related to Kashimajingu, Kanameishi, and the mythical Japanese catfish named Namazu, this paper integrates the Japanese mythology of earthquakes with earthquake stories from other parts of the world, exploring the relationship between the earthquakes and Namazu. Namazu＇ s abnormal fidgetiness before an earthquake results from his ability to predict earthquakes, rather than any ability to cause earthquakes. This paper also analyses earthquake incantations created by Japanese to control earthquakes which embody the conquest of nature by Japanese.%本文根据文献资料及作者对日本鹿岛神宫的调查，以鹿岛神宫的鲶鱼和镇地石为切入点，结合世界上其他地区的地震神话，整理了日本的地震神话，分析了日本地震神话中鲶鱼和地震的关系。本文认为鲶鱼骚动只是地震前的异常行为，这是因为鲶鱼能预知地震，而不是鲶鱼引发了地震。日本的地震神话比较晚出，这与神道思想相关。本文还探讨了日本人为了消除地震灾害而创造的地震咒语，这种咒语体现了日本人对自然灾害的征服。
