It has always been a common desire of management department and academia to build a scientific, fair and reasonable evalua-tion index system of humanities and social science. There are many high-frequency words existing in various index systems such as inno-vation, value, quality, influence, visibility etc. Current theoretical research and evaluation practices show that the deviation between eval-uation purpose and evaluation index is due to the inappropriate understanding of index meaning. In this paper, we try our best to clarify the implications of each index and the logical relationship of them based on the analysis on the misuse of evaluation index, hoping to provide some references for academic peers.%构建科学、公正、合理的人文社会科学评价指标体系,一直是管理部门和学术界的共同愿望。创新、价值、质量、影响力、显示度等是各种指标体系中的使用高频指标。当前在理论研究和评价实践中,由于评价者对其确切涵义的理解不当,导致了诸多评价指标与评价目的偏差,从而造成评价结果的失真。旨在从评价指标的源头入手,厘清各个指标的内涵及其关系,以期为学界同行提供借鉴。
