动词壳理论下使役动词后 to 的省略

摘要

The vp shell theory holds that the deep structure of all vps includes a notional verb and a shell.The head word of the shell is a light verb expressing reasons and the light verb absorbs the features of “to”in the clause predicator,leading to the omission of “to”.The vp shell theory makes a reasonable and full explanation on the reasons of the omission of “to”in the predicator after causative verbs which is a quite common grammatical phenomenon.%动词壳理论认为所有动词短语的深层结构都是由一个实义动词加一个外壳组成。动词壳的中心词是一个抽象的表原因的轻动词，此轻动词吸收小句中 to 的特征导致小句谓词 to 的省略。使役动词后小句谓词省略 to 是一种极其常见的语法现象。动词壳理论充分合理地解释了使役动词后小句谓词 to 被省略的原因。
