Nature education in ancient Rome developed and deepened from that of ancient Grace. Educators in ancient Rome, including Lucretius, Cicero, Seneca, Quintilian and Plutarchus, all had specific and deep discussion on nature education, and formed the practical and utilitarian thought. They had different opinions on the topic, but all gave dialectical explanation on the relationship between education and children nature development. Based on the ba-sic views and the reasons for the formation, the paper tries to make comments and analysis on nature education thought in ancient Rome.%古罗马的教育家卢克莱修、西塞罗、塞涅卡、昆体良和普鲁塔克都对天性教育思想作了具体而深刻的论述,形成了讲究实际,务求实用的功利主义的具有罗马特色的天性教育思想。尽管他们在这个问题上的观点有差异,但都对教育与儿童天性发展关系作了辩证的认识,充满辩证的意味。
