浅论总体文学研究

摘要

For so many years, scholars across the world have been searching for general literary expression which is beyond different nationalities and countries and suitable for all the literature on the earth. Since Goethe and Marx put forward ＂world literature＂, general literature, as an important aspect of the field of the study of comparative literature gradually moves into the researchers＇ horizon. Whereas, as a still controversial conception, general literature encounters great obstacle. So the major task of the article is trying to probe the research content and method of general literature, making some controversies clearer.%寻求一种超越民族、国家的，具有普遍意义的文学表达与理解的思想，一直是不同时代、不同地区的比较文学学者的共同追求。从歌德及马克思等人分别提出“世界文学”的概念起，“总体文学”作为比较文学研究领域的一个重要方面逐渐走入人们的视野。然而，作为在学界仍存在极大争议的“总体文学”，在发展道路上困难重重。因此，对一些有争议的方面进行疏通，确定总体文学的研究内容和方法，为其今后的发展扫清障碍，就成为文章的主要探讨对象。
