中原经济区商务英语学科发展现状调查

摘要

The discipline of business English does not simply mean adding business courses to English language courses,rath-er,as an interdisciplinary subject,it covers fields of study including applied linguistics,economics,management,law,inter-national business and beyond.Through a survey of business English discipline in central plains economic region,the author comes to the conclusion that business English should be greatly promoted to meet the demands for business English professionals in the regional economic development,and one of these ways is to upgrade traditional English programs based on the curriculum designs of a number of Chinese universities.The author also suggests the following:business English would enjoy sustainable development with scientific research and development of textbooks and regular training of teachers.%商务英语不是传统意义上的“商务＋英语”，而是一种新兴的交叉学科，它包含但不局限于应用语言学、经济学、管理学、法学及国际商务几个方面。对中原经济区内高校商务英语学科发展现状的调查显示，商务英语学科发展水平一般；本文同时指出在中原经济区建设的大环境下，以及在学科交叉日益明显的今天，要进一步解放思想，借鉴国内商务英语专业建设的成熟经验，加快传统英语专业的升级转型。本文还指出，通过采用以内容为基础的教学法，加快专业教材研发，使教师培训常态化，以科研促进商务英语学科的可持续发展，为中原经济区的建设提供人才和智力支持。
