Discussion about the objective of the academic disciplines development and the elements in a scientific research management system for developing medical college

During the five-year plan of China, more founds were invested for higher education, in order to improve the level of education and the quality of personnel. Like many college or universities in China, our college (Jilin Medical College) has step into a connotation development after the first period of the scale development. So, we must elevated the level of teaching and education, and train more useful graduates for the society. Under the this condition, the work of disciplines development was not only the content of connotation development in our college, but also the main pathway to achieve this aim. We started the disciplines development plan three years ago. During the first period of time, we have got some experiences and achievement. Now, we must try to adjust the plan, objectives and management for disciplines development. In this text, we will discuss the objectives of the academic disciplines development and the elements in a scientific research management system after our college has step into a connotation development period.
