罗愿所著《新安志》共10卷,其中人物类从第六卷到第九卷独居4卷,是全书内容最多的一部分。《新安志》所记载的地方人物众多,对于当地历代乡贤、耆宿、进士、义民、流寓、名宦、职官乃至僧道几乎无所不载,其中宋代人物的记载尤为详细,具有很高的史料价值。就《先达》两卷而言,罗愿记载了古新安的41位先贤人物,其中宋代的36位。36位人物传记所载事迹或见于《宋史》的列传、或散见于《宋史》各篇、或为《宋史》未录,与《宋史》相佐证,是研究宋代历史的宝贵史料。而且《先达》两卷记载的宋代人物具有明显的地域性且多登进士第为文吏,为学界了解宋代徽州社会提供了基本信息。《新安志》中所记的宋代人物还为后代的徽州地方志提供了资料来源,具有很高的史料价值。%There are ten volumes in Xin＇an Records written by Luo Yuan,of which people section is the largest taking up 4 volumes from volume 6 to volume 9.Many local people such as country sages,venerated old people,advanced scholars,righteous people,refugees,officials and even monks are recorded in Xin＇an Records,among which people in the Song Dynasty are recorded in particular detail and have a high historical value.Taking Xian Da as an example,there are forty-one figures,thirty-six of whom belong to the Song Dynasty.The biographies of the thirty-six people could either be found in biographies or other chapters in the History of the Song Dynasty or provide evidence for the writing of the book.Study on these historical people will offer valuable information for the study on the Song Dynasty.What＇s more,the people who are recorded in the 2 volumes of Xian Da possess obvious locality,and most of them are scribes,which provides some basic information for studying Huizhou society in the Song Dynasty.In addition,the historical figures of the Song Dynasty recorded in Xin＇an Records also provide resource of information for the compiling of Huizhou local chronicles,and have a high historical value.
