概念隐喻与概念整合理论对比刍议

摘要

When conceptual metaphor is proposed by Lakoff and Johnson , it causes a “metaphorical revolution” in the world , making it get rid of the traditional notion of rhetoric ornament , meanwhile , it provides a powerful cognitive method for human beings . However , over in-depth research , cognitive linguists , represented by Fauconnier , realize that there exist limitations in conceptual metaphor since it can not interpret some complicate and novel phenomena , thus putting forward the conceptual integration theory . Scholars in broad and home agree that these two theories are not necessarily incompatible , but complementary . In order to dig up their relationship , this paper will illustrate the similarities and differences between them , in hope of readers having a clear understanding of them .%自Lakoff和Johnson提出概念隐喻以来，便在世界范围内引起了一场“隐喻革命”，彻底从隐喻修辞观中解放出来，为人类认知方式提供了强有力的武器。然而，随着研究的深入，以Fauconnier为代表的语言学家发现概念隐喻理论有其局限性，不能解释某些抽象和新鲜的隐喻，于是提出了概念整合理论。国内外学者基本一致认为二者之间并不排斥，而是具有互补性。为了探清二者之间的关系，笔者将他们进行详细对比，以期让读者有一个清晰的认识。
