In his works,Fitzgerald revealed the characters’states of living through the description of time,and expressed his thinking of and questioning to life.He paid special attention to characters’absorption in their psy-chological time and the cracks in their memories.It is worth noting that Fitzgerald employed some movie techniques in presenting characters’consciousness of time.%菲茨杰拉德在作品中通过描写时间的流变来展现人物的生活状态，表达他对生命的思索和拷问。他着重描叙人物对心理时间的执着，人物记忆的难以弥补的裂痕。值得注意的是，菲茨杰拉德使用了一些电影技巧来表现人物的时间意识。
