邵氏兄弟(香港)有限公司投资拍摄的影片《潘金莲》，一方面通过普通人妇真实生活面貌的展现、通奸杀夫因由的深层次开掘以及美好爱情追求的凸显来对潘金莲这一特殊女性形象进行了别具意味的影像重塑；另一方面，影片着意发挥了戏曲唱段对于片中人物塑造的重要作用，从而既折射出上世纪六十年代中期的香港电影对于《水浒》人物精神内涵的特殊理解与诠释，亦体现出戏曲元素对于古典名著改编的重要意义。%The movie Pan Jin lian, produced Shaw Brothers ( Hong Kong) Co. , Ltd, remodeled the special female image of Pan Jinlian through the appearance of an ordinary wife in real life, deep digging of her causes to kill husband and beautiful love pursuit. On the other hand, the film played important opera arias’ role in shaping characters, which not only reflected special understanding and interpretation of characters’ spiritual connotation of The Water Margin in Hong Kong films of the mid-1960s, also reflected the significance of drama for the adaptation of the classic.
