倚重新批评理论的细读法解读《婴宁》，专致在文本的有机体中挖掘幽微隐密的信息。小说中存在两个吴生；秦母筹划了王子服与婴宁的相遇，王子服在经历婴宁所设重重考验后终成正果；婴宁的双重性格中，纯真为本为体，慧黠为表为用；成熟致其不笑，内含的任性致其笑之“不复”；“全人”含意乃指处世之成熟；“婴宁”的命名隐喻了女主人公从未改变之性格的不同显化方式以及她的渐趋成熟。%With more emphasis on the use of close reading in New Criticism, this paper specializes in the discovering the faint and hidden information in Ying Ning .There are two Wu Sheng in this novel. Wang Zifu met Ying Ning in Mother Qing’s plan. He finally became immortal after taking a series of tests set by Ying Ning. Ying Ning is one of dual characters with innocence being prime and shrewd superficial. Her maturity is marked by poker face and her inbred caprice endows her with no smile too. “Total man” means skillful interpersonal skills. Naming of Ying Ning metaphorically refers to her ever-changing characters with different presentations and her growing maturity.
