心理词库理论与语义网络构建———以《麦克米伦高阶英语词典》(2版)为例

摘要

心理词库是人脑中关于词汇信息的内存，即存储于大脑中的词的知识的心理表征，属“内在”语法的研究范畴。储存在心理词库中的词汇按照一定的语义关系存放在大脑中，即安放在各种各样的语义场中。学习型词典在帮助学习者构建二语心理词库时，应按照词汇在母语心理词库中的排列方式，即语义场的方式存储，帮助学习者从语义角度来构建类似于母语心理词库的二语心理词库。《麦克米伦高阶英语词典》(2版)在词汇语义网络构建方面做了大量的工作，主要使用方法有“搭配”、“词族”、“同义词”、“插图”、“词汇扩充”、“释义”。%　　Thementallexiconconcernsthememoryofvocabularyinhumanbrain,i.e.mentalrepresentationof vocabularystoredinmindanditisagrammarofinternalsyntaxonlexicalinformation.Thevocabularystoredin humanmindisorganizedbasedonsemanticrelationship,i.e.intheformofsemanticfield.Learner’sdictionary issupposedtoorganizeitsvocabularyinformationbasedonthetheoryofmentallexiconsothatitcanhelp dictionaryusersbuildasecond-languagementallexicon.“MacmillanEnglishDictionaryforAdvancedLearners”(the2ndSection)didagoodjobinbuildingsemanticworkbasedonthetheoryofmentallexicon.Themajor methodsadoptedinthisdictionaryare“collocation”,“wordsets”,“synonyms”,“illusion”,“expandyour vocabulary”,“definition”.
