The theory of "the Tragedy of Commons" not only serves as an important part of many modern economics textbooks, but also has outstanding influence on the practice. Both the rudiment and formal demonstration of the theory existed before Hardin (1968), but it has long been overlooked by the academic. In order to contribute on more complete recognition, the author makes a systematic historical literature review to helpful reveal the long "dust-covered" thought history. According to time as well as the depth of comprehension, it may be concluded as three discontinuous periods: ancient Greek, near-modern times and the 20th century before 1968.%“公地悲剧”理论不仅是许多现代经济学教材的重要内容，而且具有突出的实践指导意义。虽然这一理论的雏形和正式证明在哈丁（1968）之前就已存在，但却长期被学术界所忽视。为了改善这种局面，促进人们获得对“公地悲剧”思想史更加完整的认识，系统梳理与之相关的历史文献，从而清理出这段“尘封”的思想史是很有裨益的。根据时间先后和认识程度递进的顺序，这段思想史可以被归纳为三个并不连续的阶段：古希腊、近代和1968年以前的20世纪。
