世界历史上的社会形态转型，绝大多数情况下都采用战争、暴力革命的方式，惟独日本两次通过改革实现了社会形态转型。究其原因，一是与日本独特的民族文化传统有关；二是与日本政治、经济结构的特点有关；三是危机局势下，统治阶级的分化为转型提供了阶级前提；四是优越的地理位置也给日本提供了自我调整和转型的机会。日本两次通过改革实现社会形态转型，其方式独特，成就惊人。但是，时间较长、弊端明显。%Nearly all of the social form tra nsformations in the history of the world, in the vast majority of cases, have been realized by the way of war or violence revolution, with Japan as an exception. Its two social form transformations were both achieved through reform. As for the reasons, there are mainly the following points: the Japanese unique national cultural tradition, the characteristics of Japanese political and economic structure, the division of the ruling class in crisis which provided class premise for transformation and the superior geographical position which offered the opportunity of self-adjustment and transformation for Japan. In Japanese history, twice transformations of society through reform were unique with amazing achievements. However, they both took quite a long time and the disadvantages are obvious.
