Due to the earthquake prediction is still an international problem, the damage caused by earth-quake to China and Japan has a huge difference. This paper, from the building seismic code standards, con-struction technology standard, the anti-seismic method, and execution four aspects, analyzes the differences between the two countries, and points out the causes of China's huge losses caused by the earthquake.%在地震预测还是一个国际性难题的大背景下,地震给中国和日本造成的危害存在巨大的差异. 文章从建筑抗震规范标准、建筑技术标准、抗震方法、执行力四个方面分析了中日两国存在的差异,并指出了地震造成中国巨大损失的原因.
