高职英语教学中导入英美文学元素的价值与策略探究

摘要

目前高职院校极少开设英美文学课程。文章从高职院校英语专业的特殊性、完善学生人格、培养学生自主思维能力、提高英语综合水平等四个方面论证了高职英语教学中导入英美文学元素的价值所在,并提出了针对高职学生进行英美文学教学的策略：专题讲座、影视教学和建设互动课外课堂。%The English-American Literatures studies are few now on the curriculum of vocational colleges.This paper demonstrates the value of opening the English-American Literatures course in the vocational college from four aspects： the particularity of the English major in the vocational colleges,perfecting student＇s personality,training student＇s ability of independent thinking,improving student＇s comprehensive level of English.Furthermore,the teaching strategies of the English-American Literatures course are proposed： holding seminars,teaching with film and television,building the interactive extracurricular ＂classroom＂.
