专名翻译的模因论理据

摘要

本文从模因论的角度讨论专名翻译问题。基于对专名翻译现状的分析，论文提出模因翻译论的核心是译者要依据语言模因复制传播的规律来提供持久多产的译文模因，使其成为宿主乐于接受、广泛使用的成功模因。论文发现，作为语言模因，译文具有丰富目标语体系词汇的功能；作为文化模因的载体，译文还具有复制传播目标文化模因及原语文化模因的功能。论文的结论是，模因论为专名翻译的必要性和可行性提供了理据。%As a special form of speech communication, consecutive interpreting requires that interpreters maintain the so-cial interaction between clients and themselves. In addition, it requires that interpreters work out some effective ways to reduce the cognitive efforts consumed by the bilingual transcoding and pragmatic equivalence. Therefore, this study takes advantage of two properties of prefabricated chunks, one being no grammatical analysis, the other being stored as a whole. And it anal-yses the reasons why pragmatic failure happens when interpreters use different categories of prefabricated chunks in order to improving interpreting quality and communication efficiency.
