介绍了在地理信息系统G IS基础上结合北斗卫星导航系统技术特性、先进的地图索引和三维地图技术在自然保护区规划和管理中的应用，利用北斗卫星系统实现自然保护区中野生动植物资源的查询、统计、分析、定位、三维浏览等功能，阐述了自然保护区在旅游景区开发、资源利用、旅游导航和定位功能应用，以及在自然保护区景区防灾及野生动植物保护应用的可行性。从三维立体的真实影像中，可得到满足政府部门更好地对保护区进行管理的需求，实现自然保护景区资源合理科学的利用、开发及保护，提高经济效益，以确保自然保护区的可持续利用发展。%Based on the GIS ,this article introduces the application of Beidou navigation system in the planning and management of natural conservation areas taking the advantages of its technical features ,advanced map indexing and 3D map technology .The Beidou navigation system is used to realize the functions of inquiry , statistics ,analysis ,positioning ,3D browsing of wild animals and plants in natural conservation areas .Moreo‐ver ,the article also states the application of Beidou navigation system in the tourist site's development and re‐source utilization as w ell as tourist navigation and positioning in natural conservation areas .In addition ,the article illustrates its feasibility of preventing disaster and protecting wild animals and plants in natural con‐servation areas .From 3D real images ,government departments'demands for better management of conserva‐tion areas can be satisfied and the reasonable and scientific utilization ,development and protection of re‐sources can be realized in natural conservation areas ,w hich not only improve economic benefitsbut also en‐sure the sustainable utilization and development of natural conservation areas .
