The police law enforcement under internal supervision includes the supervisions from law-enforce-ment body, environment, procedure, responsibility and so on. It has a close connection with the efficiency of law enforcement and produces an effect on the quality evaluation, the responsibility sharing, the complicated procedure and the imperfect mechanism of law enforcement. In order to properly handle the relationship between the law en-forcement power and the effective supervision, the police should be more strict with the internal supervision and im-proving the law enforcement efficiency at the same time. Meanwhile the police should also strengthen the institution-al and mechanism design to change the irrational and inefficient sectors in law enforcement and supervision. Only when the police can improve and perfect the source, the process, the outputs, the appraisal, the liability and the mechanisms of law enforcement, can they enhance their abilities and credibility on law enforcement.%公安内部执法监督包含执法主体监督、执法环境监督、执法程序监督、执法责任监督等构成要素，其对执法效率的影响表现在执法质量考评、执法责任担责、执法程序繁琐、执法机制不全等方面，正确处理公安执法权力行使与有效监督的关系，应在严密执法监督与提升执法效率方面寻找平衡点，加强体制性、机制性设计，勇于变革不合理、不科学、不讲效率的执法监督环节，改进并完善执法源头、执法过程、执法出口、执法考评、执法责任、执法机制等内部监督体系，不断提升公安机关依法履职能力和执法公信力。
