“科玄论战”的现代性解读

摘要

"The Argument of Science against Metaphysics", an ideological event in the first half of 20 th century involving the relationship between scientism and humanism, is still a significant proposition in modern society development. Both scientism and humanism have its own rational points and limitations, and the two are in a complementary relationship like Yin and Yang in the Taiji figure. Now that the modernity paradox covers hu-manism, there is a need to adjust scientism with healthy spirit of Utopia to realize a benign interaction between rationalism and idealism.%“科玄论战”是20世纪前半叶发生的一次思想事件，它涉及的科学主义与人文精神的关系问题，依然是当代社会发展中的重要命题。科学主义与人文精神各有自己的合理性和局限性，二者是一种“太极图式”的互补关系。在现代性悖论导致人文精神被掩蔽的境况下，需要用健康的乌托邦精神矫正科学主义，实现理性主义和理想主义的良性互动。
