Ellipsis and implication are different from each other in that the former refers to sentence structure, while the latter to the sentence meaning. They all are phenomena connected with the concepts of complete sen-tences by taking the complete sentences as a standard to judge what contents are omitted or implied. One-word sentence belongs to pragmatics in the form of a single word, but in context that it has complete structure and clear meanings.
