Objective To study the clinical significance of serum level of pepsinogen - Ⅰ ( PG - Ⅰ ) determination in early gastric cancer and postoperative observation. Methods The latex - enhanced immunoturbidimetric assay was applied to detect serum level of PG - Ⅰ in 86 patients with gastric cancer, 70 patients with gastric ulcer, 98 patients with atrophic gastritis, 106 normal persons and 82 postoperative patients with gastric cancer. Their clinical data were collected and analyzed. Results In comparison with normal persons, the serum levels of PG -Ⅰ in patients with atrophic gastritis and gastric cancer were decreased, and serum level of PG -Ⅰ in patients with recurrence of gastric cancer after operation was almost as same as the level before operation, and it was obviously lower than that of postoperative patients without recurrence. Conclusion For early screening of gastric cancer, the determination of serum level of PG -Ⅰ can offer a reliable indicator for clinical diagnosis and treatment. After the gastrotomy in patients with gastric cancer, the determination of serum level of PG - I is the most ideal tracking and monitoring indicator for the recurrence of gastric cancer.%目的 研究血清胃蛋白酶原I(PG I)含量检测在胃癌早期发现和胃癌术后观察中的作用.方法 采用胶乳增强免疫透射比浊法,对医院就诊的86例胃癌、70例胃溃疡、98例萎缩性胃炎、106例正常者及82例胃癌术后治疗者,检测其血清PG I含量.采集数据,进行分析.结果 萎缩性胃炎、胃癌患者血清PG I含量均较正常对照者偏降低,胃癌术后复发者血清PG I含量较术前基本一致,明显低于未复发者.结论 血清PG I 含量检测在胃癌早期筛选中为临床提供可靠的帮助.在胃癌切除治疗过程中,诊断其是否复发,是临床最合理的跟踪监测指标.
