论北宋诗人胡宿的“平淡”诗观

         

摘要

Hu Su was a very unique poet during the Northern Song Dynasty in poetry creation. He was regarded as the latter XiKun by Qing poets. On the second year of Tian-sheng (1024), Hu Su began his political and literary career, and died in the fourth year of Zhi-ping (1067). His forty-year career was the period that poetry in Northern Song Dynasty was transiting from the old poetic style to the new style. So, Hu Su showed his complex and diverse aspects in poetic style and poetic thoughts. In the aspects of poetic thoughts, Hu Su valued both literary grace and the real function. Besides, it was he who first proposed the “Unpolished Style”. At the same time, He also defined “Unpolished style” as classical-music smoothness and elegance, which accorded to the “elegance”frequently mentioned in his work Zheng Shi Zhi Yin. What’s more, he also promoted the development of the aesthetic category of “Qing” in the Song Dynasty, fully reflecting the Latter XiKun school poets’ complexity and uniqueness with respect to literary theory in the acceptance of the XiKun school.%  胡宿是北宋时期的一位诗歌创作极富特色的诗人,被清人视为“西昆后进”。胡宿天圣二年(1024)登上政坛、文坛,治平四年(1067)去世,这四十余年间正是北宋诗坛处在新旧诗风转换时期,因此,胡宿无论是诗风还是诗学思想均呈现出复杂多样的一面。在诗学思想方面,胡宿除主张华实并重外,已有“平淡”之论,是北宋诗坛较早提出“平淡”诗论的诗人,同时,他还赋予“平淡”如古乐一样平和雅正的意义,这与他诗文中多次提到的“正始之音”所包含的“雅正”含义一致;另外,与此相应,他还推动了“清”这一美学范畴在宋代的发展,充分体现出后期昆体诗人在对西昆体接受过程中所体现出的文学观的复杂性和独特性
