As a part of the Chinese area social life history, the research of social life history of Three Gorges Area can provide a case for regional social life history research, and further enrich the social life history discipline system, promote the development of the Three Gorges culture and history research, accelerate interdisciplinary research, shed light on the administration of the immigrant society, and enhance the historical and cultural place of Three Gorges Area as a unique geographical unit.%三峡社会生活史是中国区域社会生活史研究的一个组成部分。三峡社会生活史能够为区域社会生活史研究提供案例，进一步充实社会生活史学科体系，推动三峡历史文化研究向纵深发展，促进跨学科研究，为移民社会的管理提供参考，增强三峡作为独特地理单元的历史积淀和文化底蕴。
