马克思主义群众办报思想的形成逻辑

＂ For whom does journalism serve, by whom is journalism run＂ is one of the eternal practical prop- ositions in the world＇s journalism history. From the perspective of journalistic value orientation, there are only two paths which are in response to this proposition ： ＂ newspaper by the elites＂ or ＂newspaper by the masses＂ . ＂ News- paper by the masses is not merely something compensatory for ＂newspaper the elites＂ that cannot meet the his- torical needs, it is also a concrete manifestation of the historical materialism of Marx＇ s ideology in the development process of modern history.%“新闻为谁服务，由谁来办”是世界新闻传播史上的永恒实践命题。从新闻价值归宿层面上讲，回应此命题的路径无外乎：“新闻由精英来办，为精英服务”，即所谓“精英办报”，或“新闻由群众来办，为群众服务”，即所谓“群众办报”。从逻辑缘起看，“群众办报”是对“精英办报”无法满足时代需求的一种新闻代偿，放在社会历史进步视景中看，它更是马克思历史唯物主义意识形态在无产阶级专政社会中的新闻必然表征。
