日左翼反美核潜艇入日运动（1964）缘何失败

1964年，出于国内政治斗争的需要，日本的左翼团体发起了反对美国核潜艇靠港的运动。这场运动因美国核潜艇停靠日本港口的常规化而失败。左翼阵营的崩溃、日本和平利用原子能事业的发展、美国的精心策划、媒体与地方的态度以及赖肖尔对话机制的成效，这些因素的综合作用使得左翼的呼吁没有引起日本国民的共鸣，这表明国家安全的考虑超越了国内政治斗争的需要。%Japanese left-wing groups launched a campaign to protest against U.S. Nuclear Submarine visit Japanese port for the reason of domestic political struggle. Unfortunately, it failed as SSN calls became routine. All these elements include the collapsing of unified Left-wing bloc, developing of peaceful use of atomic energy in Japan, and U.S. elaborate arrangements, attitudes of mass media and local government and residents on SSN visit, and ambassador Reischauer’s endeavor on dialogue with various Japanese counterbalanced left-wing’s appeal, and there were only few responded to the left-wing. This situation indicated considered national security is valued much more important than domestic political struggle.
