《尚书》是我国最早的政史资料汇编，它的内容主要是君王的文告和君臣间的谈话记录，因此，《尚书》中大多为记言体散文。但是，《尚书》中也有一部分作品是记言与记事相结合并且侧重于叙事的，这些作品对后世散文发展的影响不可小觑。《尧典》是《尚书》的首篇，其叙事有较鲜明的特点，且已经是结构完整的独立篇章。《尚书·尧典》属叙事文体，表现出早期历史叙事文体的一些特征，其叙事技巧具有独特的研究价值。%Shangshu is China’s earliest political and historical compilation of data ,which is a record of the main contents of the king’s proclamation and his conversation with the ministers .Therefore Shangshu is mostly written in prose form ,with only a few works in note and narrative forms ,which have some influence on the later essay development .Be-ing the first collection of Shangshu ,Yaodian has distinctive narrative features with a complete structure of independent discourse .Shangshu Yaodian belongs to the narrative style , showing some characteristics of early historical narrative style ,which is worthy of study .
