表面多孔聚醚醚酮的制备和压缩性能——一种理想的融合材料

     

摘要

In order to improve interface integration between bone and poly ether ether ketone(PEEK)cage, PEEK was modified with a surface porous layer by die casting and etching process.Porous layer with 100%open porosity possessed a pore size of 400 μm and thickness of 1.5 mm.Under transverse force(parallel to porous layer),uni-axial compression tests showed that surface porous PEEK(SP-PEEK)with porosities of 30%,40%and 50%preserved 87.1%~90.5%of the strength(57,55.8 and 54.9 MPa re-spectively)and 53.6%~83.6%of the elastic modulus(9.2,7.9 and 5.9 GPa respectively)of solid injection-molded PEEK.Under axial force(perpendicular to porous layer),SP-PEEK with porosities of 30%,40%and 50%preserved 64.3%~79%of the com-pressive yield strength(49.8,48.3 and 40.5 MPa respectively)and 47.1%~49.1%of the elastic modulus(5.4,5.3 and 5.2 GPa respectively)of solid PEEK.As-prepared SP-PEEK possessed comparable stiffness with cortical bone(4.9~28 GPa),suggesting that SP-PEEK can maintain stiffness necessary for interbody fusion.%为了满足聚醚醚酮(poly ether ether ketone,PEEK)融合器在高应力环境下的应用,同时提高其与骨组织的接合能力,采用压铸和腐蚀方法制备孔径为0.4 mm,多孔层厚度为1.5 mm,开孔率达100%的表面多孔PEEK(surface porous-PEEK,SP-PEEK),并研究了SP-PEEK的单向压缩行为.结果显示:当SP-PEEK孔隙率分别为30%,40%和50%时,其在横向力(平行于多孔层方向)作用下,保留了实体 PEEK 53.6%~83.6%的弹性模量(分别为9.2、7.9和5.9 GPa)及87.1%~90.5%的屈服强度(分别为57、55.8和54.9 MPa);在轴向力(垂直于多孔层方向)作用下,SP-PEEK保留了47.1%~49.1%的弹性模量(分别为5.4、5.3和5.2 GPa)及64.3%~79%的屈服强度(分别为49.8、48.3和40.5 MPa).制备的SP-PEEK具有与皮质骨相当的弹性模量(4.9~28 GPa),能够满足脊柱融合的刚度要求.
