现代性：厘清·反思·重构--对当代中国现代性建构的思考

摘要

Modernity is one of the focus topics of our times.The definition of modernity is complicated, covering art, sociology, political science, philosophy, and other fields.And different areas have different theoretical perspectives.Modernity as a narrative paradigm, provides us with the anatomy tool and inter-pretation paradigm of analyzing modern society.The western theorists of 20th century revealed the inher-ent limitations of modernity, who have made a profound criticism and reflection on the modernity prob-lems, such as the science hegemony, ultra-individualism, instrumental rationality, etc.The construction of contemporary Chinese modernity can′t be simple rejection of modernity, also can′t passively withstand the negative effects in the process of modernization, should make full use of the advantages of backward-ness, effectively avoid the disadvantages of western modernity, and construct a pattern and development path of Chinese modernity.%现代性是我们时代的焦点话题之一。有关现代性概念的界定，纷繁复杂，涵盖了艺术学、社会学、政治学、哲学等诸多领域，并且在不同领域有着独特的理论见解。现代性作为一个叙事范式，为我们提供了分析现代社会的解剖工具和解释范型。20世纪西方理论学家对现代社会产生的科学霸权主义、极端个人主义和工具理性等现代性问题的深刻批判和反思，揭示出了现代性内在的局限性。当代中国现代性的建构既不能简单拒斥现代性，也不能消极地承受现代化过程中的种种负面效应，而应该借助后发优势，有效规避西方现代性的弊端，建构一套适合中国自身的现代性模式和发展道路。
