The Northwest of China covers an extensive area with a complex topography and a fragile ecological environment. Rapid vegetation restoration technology for the desertificated arable wastelands in Northwest China has far-reaching significance to accelerating its economic development and ecological construction. Based on reviewing the rapid vegetation restoration theory and technology for arable wastelands, the paper proposes some restoration technologies and strategies suitable for the economic development objectives of Northwest China .aiming to provide theoretical and technical support for the rapid restoration of vegetation in the arable wastelands in Northwest China.%我国西北地区地域广阔,地貌复杂,生态环境脆弱.西北地区荒漠化宜农荒地植被快速恢复技术,对加快西北地区的经济发展和生态建设进程,具有深远的意义.笔者在综述宜农荒地植被快速恢复理论和技术的基础上,提出适宜西北地区生态经济发展建设目标的植被快速恢复技术及策略,为西北地区宜农荒地植被快速恢复提供理论依据与技术支持.
