In 2006,Hongxiangdao 823 was successfully crossbred by consecutively selecting multiple generations with its female parent of Hongxiangdao restores line SR33M and its male parent of self-fertile F02-80-1. The growth period of such combination lasted for 118 - 128 d with its spike length of 20 cm,around 160 grains of each spike,yielding rate of 90％, 1 000-grain weight of 23 g. The brown rice was crimson with fragrance. It has resistance to rice blast but moderate susceptibility to bacterial blight. The average yield of early rice and late rice was 5290.5 -7 657.5 kg/hm2. The coloration of its seed coat was around 20 days early than that of normal Hongxiangdao. The brown rice had even bright color at harvest time,which dealt with the uneven color of Hongxiangmi during harvest time.%红香稻823是以自育红香稻恢复系SR33M为母本、自育中间材料F02-80-1为父本杂交,经多代连续选择于2006年秋育成.该组合全生育期118～128 d,穗长20 cm,每穗总粒数160粒左右,结实率90%,千粒重23 g,糙米赤红色,有香味,杭稻瘟病,中感白叶枯病,早、晚稻平均产量为5 290.5～7 657.5 kg/hm2.该组合籽粒种皮着色时间比普通红香稻提早20 d左右,成熟收获时糙米粒着色均匀亮丽,解决了普通红香米生产收获时糙米颜色不均匀的问题.
