“人文理想”与“文化治理”构成美育的思想与实践两个维度,在具体的历史语境中,这两个维度不是同时显明而常常是通过对一个维度的强调来遮蔽或隐含另一个维度的现实目的,如此而建构了美育在文化史中的不同人文面相及其演变线索。在概观中西美育的视野中梳理这一线索,意在将美育研究的话语实践与21世纪美育的新问题意识进行衔接。%"Humanism"and"cultural governance"constitute the two dimensions of theory and practice of aesthetic educa-tion which, in the specific historical context, are often not manifest at the same time.Emphasizing one dimension often serves to conceal the realistic purpose of the other.This makes for the various aspects and evolutionary path of aesthetic edu-cation in cultural history.This paper, by tracing this line in an overview of western and Chinese aesthetic visions, attempts to forge a link between the discourse practice of research in aesthetic education and the new problems in 21st century aesthet-ic education.
